Stacey Mate!

Stacey is turning 30 on Tuesday, so we celebrated yesterday/last night, and as always, it was super fun.

We started the day with a very rainy, but very important annual trip to the Sauvie's Island pumkin patch. It was a tiny crowd this year, just Stace, Blake, Michelle and Keith, my mom and me. We met up at the animal barn where Blake showed us the bunny and the sheep after running towards me, arms open, and said "VERONICA!!!" I was SO excited, melted my heart to hear him say my name! Good job buddy!! We took a cold rainy hay ride and the trip was pretty short and sweet because it was NASTY outside, but still a great morning. :)

I ran some errands and then planned to take a nap, but ended up lounging on the couch at Mark's instead before heading home to shower and get ready for Stacey's party. We met up with Stace, Tyler, the Smith's, Juli, Pat, Shannon, and Michelle at Mazatlan for dinner and a few drinks, at which Blake provided everyone with entertainment as he ran around yelling "hola" with our server, LOL. After dinner, the Smiths and Michelle headed out and the rest of us stopped in at Malone's for a drink before going back to Stacey's to play Disney Scene It and hang out. Mark fit right in with my friends and we all had a great time.

I intended this blog to be sappy all about how much I love Stace, but perhaps that'll wait for her actual birthday, as I have to get back to work. ;)
