Babies, babies, babies!!

So many little babies being born this year - we've had 3 perfect little boys join the Stacey family in 2012!

Landon, our miracle baby, came first and is the only one of 5 new generation Stacey boys to not be born in August. He is getting big already and learning to roll. Good boy!

On August 21st, after a long day of labor that ended with a c-section, Jeanine and Dave welcomed Archer Remington Stacey to the world. We may have all been hoping for a girl (they didn't find out the sex), but he's another perfect little man! C-section babies are always perfect since they don't have to squeeze through anything to get out, lol, and this little man was no exception...such an adorable little face! I haven't gotten the chance to meet him yet, but I am looking forward to snuggling him soon!

Archer Remington Stacey

Then, on August 23rd at about 4:30AM, with no drama and barely any pushing, Danielle and Thor welcomed Oskar Frederick Haglund. So tiny and also so perfect. Stacey and I got to meet him last night, and he is just the sweetest little thing. I don't remember Blake ever being quite so tiny, but they were born at similar weight, so at some point, he was. Stace and Blake picked me up and we grabbed a family dinner at Wong's Garden, then headed over to the Haglund house. Oskar the perfect baby slept the entire time we ate, chatted, and watched Blake throw rice all over the kitchen for Ruby to clean up, and opened his eyes a couple times to see another stranger holding him. In the midst of teasing Thor and Danielle about being those parents who have the nurse on speed dial, litle buddy's umbilical stump thingy fell off, so they had to call back. They assured Thor that yes, it fell off early but that he was fine and that unless it started oozing nastiness, it was not a big deal and they'd look at it at their well baby check this week. So of course, we all just dubbed Oskar an advanced baby since it fell off about a week early, lol. Thor and Danielle were just over the moon happy and so sweet doting on their new little guy.
