Juli, I am SO happy you were born!

Juli's birthday was this weekend, and we all went out for a super fun time. I must preface this by saying, in case any of you forgot, Kalib was a psycho control freak who never wanted me to have any fun, lol. So the last time I went out dancing with "the girls" was literally like 3 years ago. And anybody reading this knows, that is a LONG time for me to not go dancing. I l.o.v.e. dancing. I never go out dressed slutty trying to find some random to hook up with, I don't dance on sleazy guys, I just like to go dance with my girlfriends, have some drinks and have fun. Kalib's mindset: You only go dancing to act like a slut. Umm, no no, dear, that's false. But that's neither here nor there; my point only was, I have been looking forward to this night out since Juli posted the e-vite like a month ago.

I didn't want to drive, so I met up with Stacey and Tyler at their house a but ahead of time and was happy to just have my car parked at the place I was sleeping and I didn't have to deal with it. We met Juli and a pretty eclectic group of her friends, none of whom I'd met, at the Marathon (which I love). Stace and I joined Shannon and Crystal, had a couple beers, and were introduced to some people...most of whom I already don't remember. Oops.

From the Marathon, we walked to Aura, where the door check girl was one of my residents. Eeks. We agreed to pretend she did not cut her landlord a deal on the cover and went on with the night.

Super, super fun time. I love Juli, I enjoyed her friends, and as always, I had a ton of fun dancing with friends...old & new. =)

Happy birthday to a great friend. Juliana is just one of those awesome people who sees the good in everyone, appreciates her friends, and values what it means to be one. She is a rare exception to the general opinion I have of girls my age...she is not snotty, deceitful, dishonest or bitchy. And I love that.
