My First Place!

It's official, Juno and I are MOVING!!

No, not to Tennessee...

My dad's brother, Greg, bought a small one bedroom condo near the Clackamas Town Center when he got divorced. He ended up remarrying and moved in to his wife's house, so his son Lyle had been renting the condo from him. Lyle has been working part time in Beaverton and his church was wanting to bring him on full time, and I had talked to Greg about moving in if Lyle moved out. So after a month or 2 of being in limbo, considering renting rooms from friends, etc, Lyle was officially offered the job and is moving out around August 1st.

Which means, Juno and I are moving in to our very own condo! Just me and her. No roommates, no mom & dad, no pesky brothers. Woohoo!!! 650ish square feet of tiny apartment living space for the crazy cat lady and her cat. :)

I have been going back and forth in my head about whether it would be better to go the one bedroom solo route or to rent a room from a friend or find roommates, and I just think after 6 months of "regrouping" at mom and dad's and the previous 2 years living with control freak don't-hang-anything-on-the-wall Kalib, I am just SO excited to have my OWN space to organize how I want, do what I want, and just to have it be all mine.

Now I will probably be lonely in 6 weeks... :)
